WyreStorm introduces its first ever touchscreen, the TS-280. This compact touchscreen, with a 2.8" backlit color screen, is available as an EU or US 2-Gang model and is compatible with all models in WyreStorm’s presentation switcher line to add just a little extra control and flexibility when needed.

TOUCHSCREEN INTERFACE Instantly identified as a simple control interface yet giving the appearance that a sophisticated control system is behind the scenes, the 2.8” touchscreen simplifies matters by firstly removing the expensive processor within a control system and secondly sending serial commands directly to the switcher via Cat5e cable

INTUITIVE & SIMPLE USER CONTROL Why use a sledge hammer to crack a walnut? When a full control system processor is considered over-kill for a small classroom or meeting space, the TS-280 has you covered. Aside from the automatic operation of the WyreStorm switcher, basic functions such as switching and CEC triggering can be controlled from this simple interface touch.

SIMPLE SETUP The pre-configured UI’s for the TS-280 align with all WyreStorm presentation switcher products, offering a quick & easy solution when manual control of the meeting or education space is required. Once downloaded from the website, the UI file can be uploaded and ready to go in less than 30 seconds.

EXTENDED RANGE Using RS-422 communication between the touchscreen and the interface module means that even the longest of cable runs can be accommodated; up to 100m/328ft between control point and switcher. Power can either be drawn directly from a compatible switcher or via 12v PSU connected to the interface module.
